‘Death is Not A Good Thing’ Says Segun Arinze as Another Nollywood Star Geraldine Ekeocha Dies In Enugu
Another Nollywood actress Madam Geraldine Ekeocha has passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the University College Hospital (UCH) Enugu.
Her death was announced by the Enugu chapter of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN). According to the AGN president Segun Arinze, the doctors have no clue as to what could have been the cause of death.
Star Actress Stella Damasus tweeted ‘We have lost another actress madam Geraldine. Rest in peace. God protect and be with us all‘. Tonto Dikeh also tweeted ‘We lozt a great personality in Nollywood yesterday*Sadly enough she was cloze2 mii. RIP aunty Geraldine**God knwz bezt‘.
‘Death is not a good thing, not good at all. God knows best‘, Arinze told Nigerian Entertainment Today in a telephone conversation.
The light skinned actress is said to have starred in over 80 Nollywood home videos.
Ekeocha’s death follows the death of popular Nollywood acts like Ashley Nwosu and Sam Loco Efe.
